Register via document request

Receive a Document Request from your customer and use it to create your ProductIP account. This allows you to access the platform, attend events and trainings, upload compliance documents and collaborate with your team.
If you already have an account, you can log in directly into the ProductIP platform.


Feature access
This feature is available to all ProductIP users.


Before you begin
You need access to the email address to which the Document Request was sent.

Steps

  1. Open the Document Request invitation email sent by your customer from the ProductIP platform.

  2. Click START UPLOADING in the email.
    Do not reply to
     noreply@productip.com.

  3. You will be directed to the registration page. If this does not happen, try refreshing the page.

  4. Enter the details to complete the registration. Fields marked with * are mandatory. 

Your email address is your username and is pre-filled. Make sure it matches the email address where you received the Document Request.

      5. Accept the general conditions and privacy statement.

      6. Click Register.

 7. Check your inbox (or spam folder) for a verification email containing a link to activate your account. 

Follow the instructions in the email to complete your registration.
(Not yet applicable to Document Request users; will apply in the future)

      8. Log in to the ProductIP platform.
          After registration, you will be directed to your account where you can manage your requests.

      9. Go to Requests > Product document requests to view and respond to your request.


Tips and best practices

▪ Always use the same email address that received the Document Request to avoid access issues.
▪ Use a modern browser for the best experience.
▪ Bookmark the ProductIP login page for easy access later.


Troubleshooting

Not redirected after clicking START UPLOADING?

Try opening the link in another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

Cannot see the Product document requests tab under the Requests tab?
The Document Request may not have been sent directly to your email address.

Possible solutions:

  • Ask your customer if the Document Request has been sent

  • Ask your customer to send the Document Request directly to your email address

  • Ask the account administrator to invite the colleague who received the request to the same account

FAQ

Why can’t I see any Document Requests in my account?
This usually means the Document Request was sent to a different email address. Ask your customer to resend it to the correct address.

Can multiple users access the same Document Request?
Yes, if they are invited to the same account by the account administrator, they can view and manage the same requests.
